I can not express how psyched I am to see this film.
Back on the road again this week after coming down with a virus last week. Of course I caught something right before I left for Honolulu to go see the last U2 show on the Vertigo Tour. The show was awesome, of course!
One bonus was being able to witness a large-scale marathon firsthand. The Honolulu Marathon was going on that week, so we saw tons of post-race hobbling going on. I have to admit it was a bit disconcerting! The weather was beautiful, with lows never reaching below 70 F. It was pretty windy on Friday and Saturday, though, and I can't imagine having to run into any kind of wind like that. That would definitely be discouraging!
I did 12 miles on the group run today, and it was a bit rough going. I still have a lingering cold, so my energy is a bit low. I seem to be handling it okay though. Of course, I took a nap after and now have pretty much wasted my Saturday away. Oh well.
I got my race packet this past week! I'm #9909. You can track me on race day by going to www.disneyworldmarathon.com. You can also set it up to send you emails when I pass certain points. Pretty cool! There's nothing up for that today, but I would expect it will be up in the next week or so.
